Scoring big is one of the most exhilarating parts of darts. There’s nothing like landing a 180 or hitting a crucial checkout to turn a leg in your favour. Looking back over the past year, I’ve thrown 225 scores between 171 and 180, with countless high moments and lessons learned along the way.
Every high score tells a story. Some came in tight matches, putting pressure on opponents. Others were during practice, building confidence and muscle memory. My averages — first three at 92.27 and first nine at 93.42 — reflect not just scoring ability, but consistency and focus.
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing. There have been moments where doubles slipped away or nerves got the better of me. But those moments are as valuable as the successes. They teach resilience, composure, and the importance of staying in the moment.
Looking forward, I want to keep pushing my scoring limits, improving my checkout percentages, and turning strong performances into major wins. The PDC circuit is a place where every match is a chance to grow, and chasing those 180s is part of the thrill that keeps me motivated day after day.
